Hi! And Welcome to the very first post of my Blog, I’m Keith, and today, I’m starting my journey of creating my childhood dream- a 2nd edition Space Wolves army!
I grew up in the glorious 90’s, surrounded by paints, brushes, and the epic tales of the Warhammer universe. But as an 12 year old, life got in the way and my pocket money didn’t stretch that far, and my childhood army remained a distant memory… until now!
From battling to find those iconic miniatures online, to mastering that classic paint style that defined our youth – I’m diving headfirst into this adventure! Each week, I’ll take you along as I hunt for the perfect models, rediscover those nostalgic painting techniques, and finally getting my dream army to the tabletop!
I’ll share tips and tricks for painting and converting minis like it’s the 90’s, and maybe even throw in a few stories from the gaming days of old! Plus, we’ll get into some epic battles and you’ll see my army grow right before your eyes.
And, once it’s all done, I’ll be looking to attend a 2nd Edition event! Can you believe it, over 30 years on and my younger self would be so jealous?! I’ll be taking my complete army to face off against fellow hobbyists who share the same love for the golden age of Warhammer 40K!
