Wolves of Fenris

Hey everyone! Welcome back to my blog! Today, we’re diving into something truly special—my childhood dream army! That’s right, we’re talking about the legendary Space Wolves from the 90s, specifically the ones that made my inner child scream with excitement.

Now, if you’re a fan of Warhammer 40,000, you might remember that epic battle report featuring Andy Chambers’ Space Wolves. That was my first glimpse of what a truly awesome army could look like. But it wasn’t until May 1995, when I stumbled upon White Dwarf 185, that my vision of the ultimate Space Wolves army was forever changed!

Enter Kim Syberg and his absolutely jaw-dropping Space Wolves! I mean, just look at that army! The creativity, the conversions, the colour schemes—it’s everything a young Space Wolves fan could dream of! But here’s the kicker, folks. I know I could never replicate Kim’s masterpiece.

But what I can do is pay homage to it! This project is all about capturing that nostalgic essence while using era-specific models. I want to bring my childhood dream army to life in my own unique way!

So, what do I want to achieve with this project? First and foremost, I want to embrace creativity! I’m going to dive deep into the lore, get inspired by the aesthetics of the 90s, and create a force that honors Kim’s influence while standing on its own.

And most importantly, I want to relive that childhood magic! I want to share this journey with all of you—every brush stroke, every conversion, and every epic battle report!

So, if you’re ready to join me on this adventure of nostalgia, creativity, and a touch of 90s magic, make sure you follow my blog as I try to create my own Saga, Let’s create something special together!
